Daddy Comes Home Tomorrow!!

We are so excited that Daddy is coming home tomorrow! We have finally gotten through the week....work, school, bottles, laundry...whew!!! We are super excited that we will have our Daddy back. Sounds like Rich has run into some rain during the mission trip, but I think they got a lot of good work done up in Pittsburgh. Ellyson had a great week this week. She went to school for 3 days and then Mimi and Aunt Cindy kept her the rest of the week. She is doing lots of fun things...when Bella comes into the room, Ellyson will just laugh and laugh at her. It is funny! She loves her exersaucer and Aunt Cindy brought us a "jump-up" that we'll have to post video of tomorrow! She really likes it. Check back for more pix of Daddy and Ellyson!

Girls' Weekend!

Angela and Fudge came to visit us this weekend since Rich left on Saturday for a mission trip to Pittsburgh. It was nice to have friends around, since we already miss Daddy SO much! We've made it almost 2 days and have 5 more to go...we'll see how hard being a single mom really is tomorrow!!! Bella enjoyed her best friend coming to visit, since they got to swim in the lake, visit the dog-park, eat at Panera, and go shopping! :) It was a fun and busy weekend...now Ellyson and I are getting ready for a full week of work and daycare.

4 months!

Ellyson is 4 months old!!! She is trying soooo hard to roll-over, but just hasn't made it yet (see video!!!!). Momma started work this week, so Daddy and Mimi had to take over. She will start daycare next week, which we are really praying about! I know it will be fine, but I will be doing a lot of worrying next week. I know work will get better, but it sure is hard right now! She is growing up so fast and I don't want to miss one second of it. Alex took her 4 month pictures with Rich, so here are some of the good ones. We love our little "ladybug" to pieces!

First Cereal!

Tonight Ellyson had her first taste of cereal! I'm not quite sure she was so wild about it! She had her 4 month old doctor's appointment today and did wonderful! She got 3 shots and just cried a little. Her weight hasn't changed all that much but the doctor said that her head control and movement was so good that she felt comfortable starting cereal. She is sleeping a little better and hopefully really good tonight after getting a full belly! She loves her new exersauser and is standing up in it really well. She stayed with her Mimi and Pop today for a "fun" day and is looking forward to her Gran coming to visit soon! This is a new video of her laughing that we finally caught tonight!

Ellyson and I are trying to enjoy our last few days at home together! Today we visited her daycare and played with all her new friends for awhile. The people are super nice and I think she'll have a great time! This afternoon after a nap, we went to the lake to let Bella continue to practice her swimming. We've been practicing all summer for this debut! She is finally getting it...check it out! I don't think she'll be able to compete with Fudge or Lila, but we're working on it!
