OBX 2011

We had a great time at the beach this summer visiting Corolla for a week. Ellyson absolutely loves the beach and kept herself busy making us all kinds of great meals to eat from sand and shells! She enjoyed playing with Anna-Reid and Luke, making sand castles and swimming in the ocean. She started summer pre-school at Good Shepherd in June and will start pre-school in the fall (September). She loves going to school; painting, dancing, and playing with all her friends. She attends chapel weekly as well as gets to go to Romp 'n Roll every Tuesday. She knows all her ABC's and can recognize most letters on paper; she can count to 14 without help and knows all her colors! Most importantly, she loves getting her way and turns into Jekyll and Hyde at the drop of a hat! We are getting ready for the school year and winding down all Rich's church youth group events. We are looking forward to the weather getting cooler so we can begin planting grass and flowers as well as picking pumpkins!!!

Happy New Year

Hope this finds everyone having a great New Year's Day! We have had a great long weekend. Here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving and Christmas to update everyone. We will now be getting ready to celebrate Ellyson's 2nd birthday in March...it seems very hard to believe! But super exciting!

One Little Pooh Bear....

We had a great time last weekend Trick-or-treating with our little Pooh Bear! Ellyson loved her costume, but was not so wild about her black nose! She couldn't understand why everyone's nose wasn't painted black like hers. We visited our neighbors and partied with the youth from the church who came over for a costume party. It was definitely an eventful weekend.

1st Annual Pumpkin Carving Party!

Eating cupcakes she helped decorate!

Can you tell what we made????

All Bella did was eat the insides and get in the way!

Whoa!!! That's a knife....

Pop cleaning his pumpkin out!

The finished product!
We had our first annual pumpkin carving party this past weekend! We had a really good time, but Ellyson's pumpkin didn't quite turn out like the cover of Martha Stewart! :) All the nephews and nieces had a great time and ate super good food...nice meatballs Auntie Cindy! We are getting excited for Halloween and going trick-or-treating. Ellyson can't say trick-or-treat, though...all we have so far is "knock-knock!" Pooh Bear pictures to come....

Pumpkin Patch 2010

We had a great time at the Chesterfield Pumpkin Patch on Saturday! It was a great, cool day to pick out pumpkins. Ellyson had a great time seeing all the animals and feeding the rabbits. We rode the hayride to the pumpkin patch and then Ellyson picked the perfect ones! Daddy had the hard job of taking them all back to the car! We can't wait for the upcoming weeks...carving pumpkins, Halloween party with the youth, and going to see Angela and Gran! Happy Fall!
