Ellyson is doing so well! Slowly, but surely, we are getting into our own little routine. She is such a great baby...we are so blessed. Mimi and Gran both say with the second, we won't be so lucky....what they don't know is that there won't be a second!!!! :) Today, she went to work with Daddy. At 1:30pm she was still sleeping, so at least Daddy got a little work done today!

Ellyson's first Easter was SO much fun! We got up and went to church, which of course she slept through, waking occasionally when the piano played! Then we came home and went straight to Mimi and Pop's house for lunch and the annual egg hunt. Since Ellyson was so little, Daddy and Aunt Anna hunted eggs for her, but Mimi had an egg hunt especially for her on the deck with special eggs! She was worn out after a long day of meeting aunts and uncles and everyone holding her. She was the hit of the afternoon...and so well-behaved too! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter...

We have reason to celebrate this morning. Our precious little Ellyson slept through the night last night!!! We are super excited. We put her down last night around 11:30 pm and found her sleeping soundly at 7:30 am this morning! We rushed to check to make sure she was breathing this morning, since we both must have been dead to the world last night! I guess she decided to give us a birthday present on her 5-week old birthday last night!!! She is growing up right before our eyes....we are happy for sleep, but her mommy is sad since this is the first sign of her not being a little baby anymore! :) We just wanted to share our Easter "miracle" with you!!! The Lord is good....

Yesterday I took Ellyson on her first trip to the zoo! Yes, Richmond has a zoo....it's not very big, but there were lots of animals to see. Kim, Anna-Reid and Luke joined us since they were out for spring break! The only thing was, Ellyson slept through the whole thing!!!! Oh well!!! Here are some pictures from our great adventure!

Ellyson Caide turned one month old on Monday April 6th! We look back at pictures at the hospital and she has already grown SO much. It makes her mommy sad because she is growing so fast! She went to her first Easter egg hunt on Sunday at church, although she slept through it. I guess it is a good thing, since her daddy would have had to hunt for her! She is excited about the "BIG" hunt this Sunday at Mimi's house....this one is the important one that she can't sleep through. The eggs contain major coinage!! Daddy is really going to have to be on his game after church on Sunday....we have to save for college! We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter this weekend! Blessings....
